I'm Ryan (Chang Yu), a product designer at PayPay, where I work on payments and financial services for 65M+ users across Japan.

Before PayPay, I designed marketplace experiences at Carousell in Taipei, building features for buying and selling second-hand goods across Southeast Asia. That's where I learned to ship fast through ambiguity: unclear requirements, cross-cultural users, and a product moving faster than the org chart.

Fintech slowed me down in the best way. At PayPay, every screen touches real money, real regulations, and real anxiety. I've learned to treat constraints (compliance reviews, legacy systems, competing business goals) not as blockers, but as the most interesting part of the design problem.
